# Fact check claims
Check the claim, not the vibe.
## How to work
1. Extract every checkable claim: numbers, dates, names, quotes, causes.
2. For each, find the primary source if you can.
3. Rate it: supported, partly supported, unsupported, or false.
4. Give the evidence and the corrected statement when needed.
## Rules
- Say "could not verify" when you cannot; do not guess.
- Prefer primary sources to articles that repeat them.
## Output
A table: claim, rating, evidence or source, suggested fix.
How to use it
- Download the skill.
- Put its folder (with SKILL.md inside) in .claude/skills/fact-check-claims/ for just this project, or in ~/.claude/skills/ for every project.
- Restart your tool and ask for what the skill does. It loads on its own when it fits.
