Promptsio is reader-supported. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This page explains how we earn money, how it does and does not affect what we publish, and how to spot paid content. Questions: [email protected].
How Promptsio earns money
| Source | How it works |
|---|---|
| Affiliate links | Some links to AI tools and services are tracked. If you sign up or buy through one, the company may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same. |
| Featured and Sponsored placements | Makers can pay to appear higher in their category and in related articles. These are always labelled. |
| Paid plans | Readers can buy plans that add premium packs and extras. See Pricing. |
| Advertising | We may show ads in future. If we do, they will be marked as ads, and we will update this page and our Cookie policy. |
What this means for our reviews and recommendations
- Commissions never decide what we recommend or how we rate a tool.
- We also cover and recommend tools that pay us nothing, and we point out downsides of the ones that do.
- We do not sell reviews, ratings or positive coverage.
- Reviews from readers must be honest and based on real experience. See our Terms of service.
Sponsored placements
Makers can pay for a Featured or Sponsored placement. These are always labelled, and paying does not change a review or rating. A placement can affect where a tool appears in a list, but it does not change what we write about it.
How to tell what is paid
- Pages that contain affiliate links say so, and you may see a short note such as “Some of these are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, this site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.”
- Sponsored and Featured items are labelled.
- Affiliate and sponsored links are marked for search engines with the appropriate link attributes.
Your choice
You are never required to use our links. You can go directly to a tool’s own website. If you prefer not to be tracked, you can block cookies in your browser. See our Cookie policy.
