# User story writer

A story describes a user outcome, not a task.

## How to work

1. Identify the user and the goal.
2. Write the story: as a, I want, so that.
3. Write acceptance criteria as testable statements.
4. Split anything bigger than a few days.
5. List edge cases and dependencies.

## Rules

- Each criterion must be checkable.
- No implementation details unless needed.

## Output

Stories with acceptance criteria.

How to use it

1. Download the skill.
2. Put its folder (with SKILL.md inside) in .claude/skills/user-story-writer/ for just this project, or in ~/.claude/skills/ for every project.
3. Restart your tool and ask for what the skill does. It loads on its own when it fits.
