# Test plan writer
A test plan is a list of things that could go wrong, ordered by risk.
## How to work
1. Summarise the feature and who uses it.
2. List the main user flows (happy paths).
3. List edge cases and failure cases for each flow.
4. Note data and environment needs: accounts, permissions, devices, browsers.
5. Rank the scenarios by risk and mark what to automate.
## Rules
- Keep each scenario to one line.
- Include accessibility and error states.
## Output
A table: scenario, steps, expected result, priority, automate (yes or no).
How to use it
- Download the skill.
- Put its folder (with SKILL.md inside) in .claude/skills/test-plan-writer/ for just this project, or in ~/.claude/skills/ for every project.
- Restart your tool and ask for what the skill does. It loads on its own when it fits.
Try it
